Find a Connected Hub that fits your creative field

With Connected Hubs’ spaces naturally fertile ground for collaboration and innovation, many hub members benefit from basing themselves in hubs specific to their particular industry.

From professional makers to podcasters, creative technologists to content creators, working from a hub that offers the specialist facilities you need can increase productivity. What’s more, working in parallel to other professionals in your field can broaden your network and even boost morale.

A creative CREW

A real asset to creative entrepreneurs and innovators in the west of Ireland, CREW Enterprise & Innovation Hub in Galway is a purpose-built hub specifically for the creative technologies sector.

With the creative industries accounting for 8.9% of national employment, this state-of-the-art hub is on track to become an epicentre for CreaTech entrepreneurship. Offering a dynamic environment that fosters innovation, collaboration, and growth for startups, the space is fully-equipped with collaborative workspaces, a podcast studio, meeting rooms, coworking spaces, private offices, event spaces, collaboration zones, a boardroom, and more.

Joining this crew could be just what a savvy creative entrepreneur needs. And if you’re not Galway-based? Keep an eye out for the many events regularly run by the CREW team.

City-based creative spaces

As CreaTech and the convergence of art, design, and technology continues to open new avenues for businesses, having these kinds of incubation spaces has never been more important or quite so accessible.

In Dublin City, The Digital Hub provides high-spec offices, studios and flexible workspaces to small businesses in the technology sector and creative industries, social enterprises, artists and craftspeople.

Boasting multi-use workspaces, it’s home to 53 like-minded organisations and hosts events, meetings and classes for businesses and academia. The facilities are also used by Ireland’s major theatre companies as rehearsal spaces.

Having been nurturing fledgling enterprises for over 20 years, just some of the Digital Hub’s alumni include Amazon, Athena Media, Etsy, Havok, Kavaleer, Slack and Stripe.

One Cork City hub is a haven for professional makers, creative startups and anyone who wants to turn their passion into their profession. A not-for-private-profit social enterprise, Benchspace is an open access factory that welcomes makers of all levels.

Providing startup studio spaces, shared professional workshops and, crucially, access to industry-grade tools, this hub supports local creative industries in woodwork, fine metalwork and digital fabrication.

Benchspace members also benefit from access to community and business support events, makers markets and many of its creative enterprise programmes. Its member-only bookable multi-media conference space is particularly convenient for makers to host their customers in.

Sparks of creativity

A collaborative environment where learners, educators, innovators, startups, SMEs, creative industries and the local community can meet and exchange ideas, knowledge and best practices, Creative Spark in Dundalk is a coworking hub with a difference.

Creatively focused, the hub hosts an artist-in-residence and features an on-site FabLab – a state-of-the-art technical prototyping and fabrication space spanning 200+ square metres.

Another string to their bow is the Creative Spark Print Studio, a non-profit 24-hour access printmaking workshop and visual artists’ resource organisation.

A centre for creativity and innovation, Creative Spark provides space, skills, technology, structures and a platform for peer support for creative practitioners, startups and entrepreneurs. In addition to FabLab and Print Studio membership, Creative Spark also offers own-door units, meeting and conference rooms, dedicated and flexible desks, as well as access to community events and much more.

Lights, camera, co-work!

At the Clermont Screen Hub in Wicklow the aim is to support local businesses within the film and audio-visual industries, and by extension boost job creation.

Nestled in arguably Ireland’s most camera-ready county, this hub is a dynamic space that brings artists, filmmakers, and professionals from related industries together to collaborate and innovate. The hub boasts 10,000 square feet of private and coworking spaces, collaborative social spaces, a conference centre, meeting rooms and training facilities, and soon to be added to the list, a podcast studio.

With supporting the content creation sector and complementing the film industry at its heart, the Clermont Screen Hub keeps it local by focusing on businesses servicing productions happening within the county.
