What is a Hub?
A Hub is a facility that provides a suite of services to support businesses, remote workers and local communities.
There are five different
types (or classifications) of Hubs, each offering different facilities, services and supports.
Hubs are more than just a space, they are hives of community, connection and collaboration.
Workspace solutions are at the heart of the Hub offering and range from coworking, meeting & training space, private offices and conference facilities.
Some Hubs also offer specialist spaces such as training rooms, podcast studios, start-up kitchens, R&D labs and FabLabs.
Enterprise Hubs are Hubs dedicated to supporting businesses to scale and grow and offer bespoke supports. They also run special programmes to support businesses.
Almost all the Hubs in the Network are independent businesses which provide different mixes of service offerings.
Connected Hubs does not own or operate any Hubs.

I’m a solopreneur. I don’t need a workspace, but I do want to be part of a business community & ensure my business looks professional to my customers.
Using your home address as your business address can not only look unprofessional, but may also reveal your personal details to customers and suppliers. Many Hubs offer a Virtual Address Service which allows you to register the Hub’s address as your business address. Find Hubs offering this service here .
If you don’t need a permanent workspace, but do want to make new connections, tap into new networks and get business support, then on-demand coworking could be the answer. It’s easy to pay-as-you-go using the connectedhubs.ie website or app. And many Hubs offer flexible coworking packages with discounted rates the more days you book. Joining your local coworking space for just a few days a month will help you stay energised and feel more supported.
Meet clients, suppliers and partners in a professional environment designed for business. Offices can often be rented by the hour, half- or full-day and most will offer catering services like tea, coffee & biscuits. Find Hubs offering this service here using the ‘Meeting Rooms’ filter box.
Get in touch with your local Hub and let them know that you are in their community and are interested in attending business events & networking. Or check out the Events page on connectedhubs.ie. Many of our Hubs run online events, open to all businesses, where you can meet and network with businesses nationwide.
My company is fully remote. I and all my employees work from home and it works well. However I would like to give them a chance to get together in teams in person. And I’d like to organise company away days a couple of times a year.
While hybrid and home working is here to stay, sometimes we just want our teams to have a chance to work together in person. It might be to help speed along a project, or to help teams feel more connected. CoCreation Days are about getting your people together in a convenient and professional location so they can share the office atmosphere again. Our Hubs can organise catering or advise you on the best places to eat. Check out our CoCreation venues.

A step up from CoCreation Days, Team Away Days are a little more formal and involve content led by managers, often with a team building activity included.
Have fun with our Hub locations – want to bring your team to the city? Our urban Hubs in Dublin, Galway, Limerick and Cork could be just right for you? Or maybe you want to the peace and quiet of a rural venue. We have Hubs deep in the Wicklow Mountains or all along the Wild Atlantic Way. Choose from Tech & Innovation Hubs, or social enterprises where your booking will support a local community. Away Day activities range from guided hiking, surf lessons, brewery tours, food experiences and much more.
Bring a small team, or your whole company.

I’m a start-up business. I’m working from home at the moment, but I want to join a start-up community.

Many Hubs offer private office space to rent their Hub. These spaces can range in size from one person up to fifty, and more in some cases. Whether you are a small business owner, who wants the privacy of their own door, or a corporate looking to create a regional base, taking office space in a Hub makes a lot of sense. Rent a space dedicated to you while enjoying all the benefits of a Hub such as: flexibility of contract and room to grow; ready-made business community for networking, mentoring and support; access to communal areas such as kitchens and social spaces; use of shared meeting rooms, and much more.
A number of Hubs in the Connected Hubs network offer start-up programmes and events that you can join online and/ or in person. Some of these are one-off events, others are longer programmes. They are a great way to meet others on the start-up journey, and to get mentoring and support.

We’re a medium/ large company with head offices already well established. We’re expanding our team and want to explore the best options for a new office location. We need a flexible space, where we don’t have a long term commitment.

Coworking allows your company to offer a flexible working model for employees. Whether you have a hybrid team and need a local office solution, or are looking to scale and expand your employee base without taking on significant overheads, coworking is a great place to start. Most Hubs offer flexible coworking packages to suit every budget, including multi-day discounts.
Choose from coworking models
- On Demand coworking - Employees use the home/ Hub/ office hybrid model, working close to home most of the time and traveling to regular team/ company meet-ups. Employees gain the benefits of a professional workspace and community, while keeping costs at a minimum for the company
- Dedicated Desk coworking - Take a dedicated desk at a Hub where your employee can work permanently, demonstrating your investment in your employee by providing them with a professional workspace and opportunity for better work-life balance.
