As part of the national Connected Hubs SHOWCASE Day initiative on 26th April 2023, Engine Hubs is bringing together all 19 Hubs, and showcasing 6, in the main Limerick City Hubs, Engine Collaboration Centre. The 6 Hubs that will be showcased represent the main towns of County Limerick – Newcastle West, Castleconnell, Abbeyfeale,Adare and Croom, as well as representing smaller rural locations such as Bruree. The event will be attended by all economic stakeholders in the mid west region representing all the enterprise state agencies such as LEO, EI, IDA and more; third level institutions such as University of Limerick, TUS and Mary Immaculate College along with public representatives and local government representatives from Limerick City and County Council. The Showcase and Networking event will provide an opportunity for the Hubs, and economic stakeholders in the region to work together to answer the question Why Choose Limerick, and showcase a great example of the importance of Hubs working collaboratively to reduce the urban/rural divide and strengthen the Limerick County offering.
