Rás na mBan will be passing through Mountrath and by BloomHQ approximately 12pm and again back to the finish line in Mountrath at approximately 2pm.  BloomHQ will be hosting junior cycling classes from 11.15am to 1pm as well as some other fun and games.  We will have some pop up shops, cycle related, on the the day (contact info@bloomhq.ie if you would like a space) and even our local biker's shed and RSA approved motorcycle trainer may join the show.  Eurosport and RTE will be filming the event and surrounding activities. 

Rás na mBan was established in 2006 and is Ireland’s only women’s international stage race. 

The 2023 edition of the race is the 17th under the title of Rás na mBan and the 36th annual international stage race for women in Ireland. It runs for five days and six stages totalling over 400km of racing action. Stage 3 will take place in County Laois, beginning in Portlaoise and finishing in Mountrath.

The best Irish riders based at home and abroad will once again compete with riders from the rest of Europe and beyond.
